It is your responsibility to read this information prior to the course or workshop in order to use the equipment properly and take the appropriate precautions to keep yourself safe during the course or workshop. Scissors risks: Sharp blade.
Scissors precautions: Hold the scissors correctly and keep hands clear of the blades when cutting. Hold scissors by the blade when moving around the room.
Awl: Sharp point
Awl: Keep fingers and hands clear of the sharp pointed end when using to avoid piercing the skin.
Hot glue gun risks: Metal nozzle and glue reaches a temperature of 180 degrees celsius, and the plastic cover can feel warm. Nozzle and glue will cause a minor burn if in contact with the skin. Electrical cable to plug in the glue gun.
Hot glue gun precautions: Keep fingers and hands clear of the nozzle and glue. Be aware of the cables when moving around the space.
