Your course is being held at Redborne Upper School, in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. The full address is Flitwick Road, MK45 2NU
There are two entrances to the school, North and South. Please enter through the North entrance.
If you are coming from the A507 or Flitwick or Milton Keynes, with the Waitrose/Shell garage behind you, North is the second entrance on your right. Drive past the first entrance (south) and Neville Funeral Care, and take the entrance on your right (before the zebra crossing). You will see green gates which will be open for you.
If you are coming from Bedford, and you drive down Flitwick Road with Ampthill behind you, you should take the first entrance on your left, just after the zebra crossing.
On arrival to the site, follow the short driveway round to the left and you will see the "Design Technology" block in front of you. You can park your car here. On your first visit, you will be met by your course teacher. After this, you are welcome to walk straight to the classroom. Please arrive no later than 5 minutes before the course starts, as the sessions do start promptly.
Refreshments:
Unfortunately there are no refreshments available at Redborne Upper School. You are welcome to bring a flask plus any snacks with you, and I can provide you with access to hot and cold water.
Equipment and materials:
Crafty Birds provides all the materials you need during the course. You may wish to bring a notebook to write notes during the sessions.
You will be using the machinery in the studio, however if you would like to bring your own machinery, you are more than welcome to, as long as it is in good working order. It may be the case that you will not use any machinery at all in the first session, so do feel free to email hello@craftybirds.co.uk to ask in advance, to save any unnecessary hassle of loading machinery into your car!
If you need any further information about the course, please do not hesitate to get in contact with me.
