If you are booking your first session with Crafty Birds, you will spend it doing some sewing samples, to show your tutor the skills you have. If you are a complete beginner, don’t worry! The first session will be spent getting you familiar with the sewing machine and some simple sewing. All materials and equipment is provided at this session. At the end of your first session, your tutor will advise which sewing project to work on in your next sewing sessions with us.
If you are booking a following session with Crafty Birds, you will continue on a sewing project that you have chosen, with the help of your tutor. In these sessions, you will bring your own materials, and Crafty Birds will provide the equipment. You will get advice on the materials you need in your first session, when we choose a project together.
Each time you book onto a session, there is a form where you can specify if it is your first session, or if you are continuing with a project.
